“In 2018 I was inspired by Jim Cummings ‘Thunder Road’ and I wanted to write a character performance that focused on fatherhood. Both Ben Davis (Director) and I’s fathers struggled with health issues and we resonated on the theme, “What if your parent couldn’t be there when you became a parent?" ‘Voicemail’ was shot in Ft. Worth, TX with friends in about 14 hours. It went on to play at the inaugural Ouray International Film Festival in 2020 where I won the Best Actor award.” - Gregory
